From Mountain Man to Leading Man

Best of Broadway will feature Mark Sanders, a great friend of Gulf Coast Symphony. He has appeared in numerous years of Deck the Halls, as well as our musicals Carousel, South Pacific, and Oklahoma! He has spent the past few months in Alaska at the Alaska Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre, and is traveling the whole continent to perform for us in Fort Myers! We asked Mark a few questions about his career and time in Alaska

Dr. Violin

Daitch, who has played the violin since age 5, is the concertmaster-violinist for the Gulf Coast Symphony. A concertmaster is often considered the second-most important musician in an ensemble, and in America the position is usually called first chair.

A Concert for the Community

The Gulf Coast Symphony and Fort Myers Mastersingers perform a concert of patriotic songs, Broadway tunes, light classics, and a finale featuring the uplifting and inspirational “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.
